This piece is 8 feet x 8 feet and is made of wood. I finished it in enamel and oils. This is one of two pieces commissiontion by the city of Pittsburgh for the 2006 MLB All-Star game (see "just 15 minutes" in my gallery). This piece was selected to be on permanent display in the City County building in downtown Pittsburgh. It was stolen along with the Andy Warhol portrait in my gallery. I would like them returned no questions asked! This piece pays homage to the workers that built this city and most of the world. My Grandfather worked in the Pittsburgh Steel mills and is a huge inspiration to me and my work.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
